antique and vintage buttons
Jars and boxes of buttons jostle for position in my studio – you can never have too many buttons! I love carved, antique mother of pearl buttons, but also sell vintage Bakelite and 1930s art deco buttons – great for so many vintage textile projects. Antique buttons made from glass, metal, bone, corozo, celluloid etc. are part of my regular stock, and I sometimes come across cards of vintage buttons, and salesman’s sample cards.
